OnDeck vs. Bible Study Guides

OnDeck is a discipleship tool specifically designed for use in small groups. Below are some advantages of OnDeck compared to traditional Bible Study Guides.

Builds Relationships.

OnDeck forces you to interact not only with content, but also with others. By wrestling together through important life principles and disciplines, your small group will form lasting friendships.

Deeper Engagement.

Bible Studies often use books or study guides which tend to do a lot of the thinking for you. Instead of providing you with most of the answers, OnDeck forces you to wrestle through the Bible yourself!

Enables Practice.

Most Bible studies only engage with the content from an intellectual perspective. Instead of just gaining information, OnDeck enables you to practice skills for life with the encouragement of your small group.

Cost Effective.

With traditional Bible studies, every member buys a $12-$20 study guide to go through. With OnDeck you get a similar amount of content for the same price, but only need one deck for the entire group!

Lifestyle.

Most Bible study guides are used only once and then forgotten. OnDeck not only helps you learn, but also has a game play mode for continuing to practice and grow in the content, until it becomes a lifestyle!

Daily Devotional.

In addition to being a great Small Group or Bible Study activity, you can use OnDeck as a regular or daily devotional, whether as a family, home school group, roommates, or even as a solo or personal study!

  • Lifestyle Mode - After completing “Learning Mode”, replay a few cards each week until principles become lifestyle.
